Colonial Meeting Houses of New England  Book and Exhibition:

My Colonial Meeting House project continues to gain momentum,
and I spent considerable time this past year making new images.
These have been added to the Project Locations section of the project's web site:
www.colonialmeetinghouses.com.
I am making good progress with the project, and am in discussions with publishers.
The traveling exhibition has been listed with
GuestCurator.com.
I expect the photography to be completed in 2008.
I will be attending
FotoFest
in Houston in March, where I will be promoting the project to publishers, museum curators, and collectors.
Limited edition prints are available, and a large amount of new work has been added; click
limited edition prints
for more details.
For those who care to listen, I have added short sound bytes to most of the Colonial Meeting House pages.
This music was recorded for the
Video Essay
about the project.
It is based on early American hymns by William Billings (1746 - 1800), and
performed by Christopher Drelich.
Billings was from Boston, and is generally considered to be the first American-born composer.
He was very active in writing simple, unadorned music for the Puritan church,
and I think it complements the artistic beauty of the Meeting Houses.

Current Show: Empty Spaces at Harvard's Three Columns Gallery:

I currently have a solo show at Harvard University's
Three Columns Gallery
in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Directions can be found on their web site.
Admission is free, and it is open daily. The show will be up until February 15, 2008.
The location is a really wonderful space.

For those unable to see the exhibit, I have compiled a
Virtual Tour
of the show.

In addition to the updates to the
Colonial Meeting Houses and
Virtual Tour

sections of my main web site,
www.paulwainwrightphotography.com.
In particular, new work has been added to the
pages on the site.
I invite you to have a look.

In addition, I have updated my
price schedules
to reflect the availability of very limited edition 20x24 inch prints.
