San Diego Art Institute:
My photograph
Box Pews, Danville Meeting House,
from the series
colonial meeting houses of new england,
was accepted into the
San Diego Art Institute's
49th International Award Exhibition, juried by
Norman Bryson, Prof. of Art History at UCSD, and internationally known
lecturer and author.
The exhibit takes place from April 29th to June 11th in the San Diego Art Institute's
Museum of the Living Artist in Balboa Park, San Diego.
The colonial meeting houses of new england series
is an on-going body of work that explores the lives of our Puritan ancestors
through their places of worship.

Center for Fine Art Photography, Fort Collins, CO:
My photograph
Spiral Stairs, Mill Building, Rollinsford NH,
from the series
spirals,
is part of the exhibit Abstractions
at the
Center for Fine Art Photography in Fort Collins, CO.
The show was juried by Gary Chassman, founder and president of
Verve Editions,
an independent publisher of fine-art books.
The theme of the show, abstractions, emphasizes the derived image,
where the essential character is only a stylized or symbolic visual reference to the original.
I think this latest image in my series of spirals fits in will with this theme.
Here's a copy of the
press release.
The exhibit runs from March 30th to April 28th.

The Photomedia Center, Erie PA:
I am especially pleased to be the featured artist during the month of April at the
Photomedia Center in Erie, PA,
a non-profit organization formed to promote the creation and
exhibition of fine art photography and digital media and to foster its appreciation.
Work from my series
empty spaces
will be featured in an on-line show on their web site.
Being a large-format perfectionist, the resolution of on-line galleries
usually does not show the craft involved in making a silver print.
I look forward to
their critique of my work, and
the increased visibility that this should bring.

Road Trip: Congressional Office Building, Washington DC
Several of the photographs from my series
Colonial Meeting Houses of New England
are on their way to the congressional offices
of
Carol Shea-Porter,
my Member of Congress in Washington.
This series of images seems particularly well suited for the Congressional office building.
Not only are they from Carol's home district, but they represent the birthplace
of the American democracy.
I am excited to have this opportunity to showcase my work in this setting.
